Monica’s love of hospitality started at the early age of 16, when she got her first job as a restaurant server in her home town of Tulsa, Oklahoma. After graduating from California State University Fullerton with a Bachelor’s in Communications/emphasis in Public Relations, she continued on her hospitality journey, working at various restaurants in Southern California and moving up the ranks, eventually becoming a hospitality manager overseeing restaurant operations and events at multiple locations.

In 2018 Monica set off for Napa Valley and V. Sattui Winery, where she oversees winery events (literally – from her tower office overlooking the vineyard). She says V. Sattui “truly feels like a family,” one where she has made life-long friendships based on mutual respect.

She loves wine and travel, but is driven by adventure – in fact, she’s logged over 976 skydives and loves any adrenaline-based fun – whether it’s bungee jumping, white water rafting, cliff jumping, or wake surfing. She lives in Napa with her Great Pyrenees and when she’s not working or adventuring, she’s busy exploring wine country with her close friends.
