A great-great grandson of Vittorio Sattui and nephew to Dario, Brien is a living example of carrying on the family legacy. While Brien hovered in and around the winery in his youth, he officially joined V. Sattui in 2018 as a wine host. From there, he quickly advanced into management of the tasting room, where he oversees the sales staff and offers exceptional experiences to our members and guests.

Brien was raised in Sonoma County and has a love of sports and the outdoors, especially Lake Tahoe. After finishing high school at Cardinal Newman in Santa Rosa, he furthered his education at Butte Community College before working for the other family business (roofing) for 28 years. He values the little things in life, believing that great experiences create our best memories, and that wine is the perfect accompaniment to make those experiences better. Humble by nature, he works hard but cherishes his interactions with guests, saying, “At the end of the day it’s all about enjoying life.”

Brien lives in Rohnert Park with his wife and three boys. In keeping with the family tradition, his oldest son also works at V. Sattui.
