Megan Furth

DIRECTOR OF WINE SALES

Megan is a true industry vet. She got her start in the wine industry at age 21, when she fell in love with Zinfandel through her job at Ballentine Vineyards. Working in wine fit her like a glove, and she’s never looked back. She’s learned from amazing mentors while on the job, developing her skills as a sales and marketing expert. She says the stars aligned in 2016 when she got a call from V. Sattui recruiting her away from her position selling wine for boutique brands, saying “Being a part of the V. Sattui family feels like home to me.” She has a variety of roles (it never gets boring) including outbound hospitality, marketing, outreach, and brand building.

Megan’s Napa journey began at age 4, when her family of 8 relocated from Union City. She had an early love for anything creative – drawing, writing, music…and food. She considered a career in coffee or the culinary arts, but life kept bringing her back to wine. She’s known to drink coffee until it’s time to drink wine, will eat anchovies on almost anything, and is a self-professed guinea pig enthusiast. She loves the warmth, beauty and inclusivity of V. Sattui, and says being a part of the team “requires collaboration, patience, creativity, humility and at times some good ol’ fashioned grit. The culture is REAL – ‘let your hair down and let your vulnerabilities’ show kind of real. It took a minute for me to realize it was safe to be me, make mistakes and grow. I wouldn’t have it any other way.”

Megan lives in American Canyon with her husband Michael and son Joseph (who has already worked a couple of summers at V. Sattui). She and her family enjoy bike rides, going to great restaurants, cooking, long drives, exploring art museums, tasting wine and just enjoying the sunshine.
